Interested in Coaching?

This year we have a new registration system. You will need to create an account and register as a coach to get started. 

Once registered with GotSport, you will receive an email to complete the background check questionnaire.   

Usually this only has to be done once. If you’ve completed before with NFYSL, we may be able look this up. If you are new to the league, fingerprinting will need to be completed once registered. The league will provide a code to pay for the online registration and appointment set up for fingerprinting. 

All coaches must complete the Intro to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments course provided by US Soccer  in the Digital Learning Center (DLC). 

If you do not have an account with the DLC, you will need to create one. When creating your account, you must use the same information you used or will use when you register in the Cal North registration system. First name, last name, email address, etc. must match.

Required for all coaches and volunteers, this course provides a broad understanding of core requirements and principles for creating a safe and positive sport environment. You will learn to identify, report, and prevent emotional, physical, and sexual abuse and misconduct in sport.
